​​​​Olivia Nkómi is an LA based screenwriter, actress and poet.
​
She consulted on David Scarpa’s script for Napoleon, leading to a mentorship and her signing with Gersh.
She is currently developing Poppy Bonaparte, a subversive biopic about Napoleon's nymphomaniac sister.​
Olivia spent her childhood and teenage years in South Korea, Gabon, Great Britain, South Africa, and France, following her father, who served as an ambassador.

She earned an MA in Governance and Public Policy, summa cum laude, from the University of Sheffield, before shifting from public affairs to pursue her passion.​
​
Before developing Poppy Bonaparte, Olivia wrote psychological thrillers exploring generational trauma, often laced with dark humor. She co-wrote and starred in the Canal+ thriller Mami Wata, and began her career writing comedy for family audiences.
Her acting repertoire includes performances in both English and French, in 419, Fastlife, and Mami Wata.​
