​​​​Olivia Nkomi is an LA-based screenwriter, actress, and poet.​
​
She wrote Episodes 3 and 4 of Mami Wata, the Canal+ award-winning psychological thriller.
She consulted on David Scarpa’s script for Napoleon, which led to a mentorship and her signing with Gersh.
Olivia is currently developing Poppy Bonaparte, a subversive biopic about Napoleon's scandalous sister.​
Raised across South Korea, Gabon, Great Britain, South Africa, and France, she writes in both French and English and crafts cross-cultural stories that defy convention.​

Her recent spec scripts include Motherland, a political thriller TV pilot set in Cape Town, and Okoko, a psychological horror feature set in Los Angeles. Olivia is currently writing Queen of Swords, a biopic about Julie d’Aubigny, the queer 17th-century swordswoman who became an opera singer and burned down a convent to save her lover.​​
​
Olivia holds an MA in Governance and Public Policy, summa cum laude, from the University of Sheffield. As an actress, she has appeared in 419, Fastlife, and Mami Wata, performing in both English and French.
